Last year I was given an awe inspiring gift. I learned the positive power of social media when someone posted my work in November 2020. I was blown away by the response. It gave me an opportunity to work with new people that I might not have met without Social Media. I am truly grateful for the boon.
That opportunity was made more potent by a recent shift in our ability to offer our services here on Shopify. After Shopify informed us that we cannot list our services and use their payment portal, we got approved for Merchant Services through a company called Elevon, only to have that account closed because our business is considered high risk. The Elevon representative who made that call indicated that their company’s policies are similar to those here at Shopify; as such, we’d been approved in error. As a result, we are still working to solve our merchant services problem, we know you value our services especially during this time of global uncertainty. Rather than risk another rescinded approval, we are placing our current application with Pinwheel on hold rather than repopulate the services that Shopify won’t support. In order to resume our livelihood, we are considering re-branding and moving into offering digital classes via another platform.

We are exploring expanding our LOA site MOPG to offer digital classes along with our counseling services. We haven’t actually stopped offering counseling sessions, we just can’t list them or accept credit cards. Please reach out to us if you’d like a session. We will happily accept a check for payment. We know that’s kind of old school, and we respect that many people have moved beyond checks; we make the offer (to pay by check) so that we can resume our ability to be of service.
We will update you once we’ve been able to create easy access to our services via an online checkout portal. Thank you for your continued support. In the meantime, Shopify’s Service shutdown has prompted us to focus on creating t-shirts and glassware to inspire. We’ve started to craft those using SPOD, Shopify’s print on demand service. We hope to have something uploaded soon.
