Each of us have had our world irrevocably turned upside down by current world events. For many of us, this is a time of unbearable uncertainty. Fortunately, we are profoundly powerful beings; as such, we can transform our lives in marvelous ways, even as we rebuild our lives from this. When I studied tarot, my teacher had this to say about the Tower card: “no one likes to see the Tower, but, it only shows up when something needs to be rebuilt.” The Tower has definitely blown up our “normal, status quo” lives. Many of us have been forced out of living on autopilot. The shake up has created an environment that is shining a spotlight upon belief systems, traumas and other unconscious patterns, that have been holding us back from creating the lives we truly desire.
I know it sounds “airy fairy“ to state that this nightmare can inspire us to transform our life. A month ago, I was working 82 hours a week; now I am sitting on my couch, crafting my first blog for this store. If this shit had gone down last year, I’m not confident I would’ve made it. I spent much of 2019 refocusing my mind, by delving deep into the world of Spirit. I think one of the main things keeping me calm these days, is the renewed connection I have with Source. I have forged an active personal relationship with the Divine Nature within me. I still have a way to go, before I master my Yodaness, but I am pretty good at choosing to NOT marinate in the dark side of the Force. I cannot say that I’m not seduced by fear of the Darkside, I’ve just gotten better at making the choice not to go/ stay there.
The Force is always with us, even if you don’t relate to Star Wars. Source doesn’t care what you call it, each of us is an expression of the Divine Spark. As the world forces us to slow down, take the opportunity to turn within. No pun intended. If you need help, or support, I’m just a click away.
